Why Move Bookings Online

Ramadan is your busiest month. Manual bookings do not scale.

  • WhatsApp bookings pile up and someone has to copy every name, date and pax into a spreadsheet.
  • Deposits arrive by bank transfer and receipts have to be matched by hand before a table is confirmed.
  • No-shows leave paid-for food uneaten while walk-ins are turned away at the door.
  • On busy nights the front desk cannot tell who has arrived, who is late and how many seats are still free.

Built for Iftar Buffets

Everything a Ramadan buffet operator needs in one system

  • One event, every night of Ramadan

Create one buffet Ramadan event and add every date and sitting under it: first sitting, second sitting, weekend brunch or corporate iftar nights.

  • Per-session quotas and ticket types

Set a seat quota for each sitting so bookings stop automatically when the hall is full. Offer Adult, Child, Senior, Early Bird or VIP prices.

  • Payment collected upfront

Guests pay by FPX online banking or other methods your own Billplz account supports. Money goes straight to you; unpaid bookings expire on their own.

  • QR tickets sent automatically

A QR ticket with your branding is emailed the moment payment is confirmed. Guests can also reopen it from the My Tickets page.

  • Fast check-in at the entrance

Staff scan tickets on their own phones. Families who arrive separately can be admitted in parts, and every scan updates the live count.

  • Sales team and manual sales

Give sales staff their own tracked links and record walk-in or bank-transfer sales for owner approval, all attributed to the right person.

Every feature above is included on every plan. Browse all NakSeat features.

How It Works

From first booking to last guest in four steps

  1. Create your buffet Ramadan event

Add the venue, menu highlights, sittings, dates, seat quotas and prices. Keep it in draft until you are ready.

  2. Share one booking link

Post the link on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or your website. Guests see live availability per date and sitting on their phone.

  3. Guests book and pay online

Seats are held while the guest pays. Once payment is confirmed, the booking appears in your dashboard and a QR ticket is emailed.

  4. Scan and manage attendance on the night

Your team checks guests in by QR or name search, admits partial groups, and sees remaining seats update in real time.

On the Night

QR check-in that keeps the queue moving at Maghrib

Everyone arrives at the same time for iftar. NakSeat lets several staff scan at once on their own phones, so the entrance clears quickly and the kitchen knows exactly how many covers have arrived.

  • Multiple scanners at multiple doors, with each ticket only fully admitted once.
  • Partial check-in for families and groups who arrive at different times.
  • Name or booking-code search when a phone screen is cracked or the battery is flat.
  • Undo a mistaken scan, or mark remaining guests as completed when they will not return.
  • Live attendance per sitting, with a history of every adjustment and who made it.
  • CSV export of bookings and attendance for finance, catering counts and follow-up.

Who It Is For

Used by operators who sell seats, not just tables

  • Hotels and resorts running nightly iftar buffets
  • Restaurants and cafes with fixed Ramadan sittings
  • Caterers and event halls hosting corporate iftar dinners
  • Mosques, NGOs and community groups selling charity iftar seats
  • Cooking studios and food operators running ticketed Ramadan dining

Beyond Ramadan

The same event booking system handles Raya open houses, seminars, training courses, workshops, conferences and ticketed dining events all year round, so the setup you do for Ramadan keeps paying off. Compare plans on the pricing page.

FAQs

Buffet Ramadan booking questions

Can guests choose a specific date and sitting?
Yes. Each date and sitting shows its own live availability. When a sitting reaches its quota, it is marked unavailable automatically and guests can pick another one.
How do guests pay for their iftar buffet booking?
Through your own connected Billplz account, which supports FPX online banking and other methods enabled on your account. NakSeat does not hold your booking revenue.
What happens if a booking is not paid?
Held seats are released automatically after the payment window closes, so unpaid attempts never block real guests.
Can we still accept walk-ins or bank transfers?
Yes. Your team records a manual sale, uploads the receipt and the owner approves it. The ticket and QR code are released only after approval.
How does check-in work for a family of eight?
One booking has one QR code covering all guests. Staff can admit five now and three later; the ticket completes automatically when the last guest arrives.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Free Trial includes 30 Successful Bookings with no card required. See the pricing page for paid plans when your bookings grow.
